I am a doctoral student in Applied Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Boston. My work centers on multilingual learners: how they read, write, and build academic confidence, and how teaching can make room for the languages and experiences they bring.
Before Boston, I co-taught multilingual students in English, Algebra, and U.S. History classes at a public high school in Indianapolis, taught speaking courses at Ball State University's Intensive English Institute, and spent three years teaching first-year Rhetoric & Writing. I hold master's degrees in TESOL & Linguistics (Ball State University) and Linguistics (University of Dhaka).
